This unique event, easily laying claim to the title of “World’s Geekiest Music Festival” by Blender Magazine, has snowballed from it’s precocious beginnings to the point of international acclaim, with a spotlight in Billboard: Turkey. Nominated for the 2009 Wired Geek Dad’s Geeky Event of the Year and spotlighted by the Orlando Weekly’s 2011 Annual Manual as one of twelve events that “You Should Not Miss,” Nerdapalooza 2012 is quickly becoming one of the most talked about festivals in the nerd community worldwide. 6/5 River City Extension w/ guests The Drowning Men. 6pm, All Ages, $10 ADV - $12 DOS
With their sleeve-length tattoos and stevedore swagger, one might mistake the members of The Drowning Men for blue-collar dockworkers in their hometown of Oceanside, CA. Perhaps they were longshoremen in another life, but in this one they are every bit a rock and roll group in the classic sense, a band of brothers who joined together to form an extended community and a family.

We've added EXTRA security features for our users! You'll now see "https://" in your browser when viewing our website UseNAVVI.com.
What is an SSL Certificate?
SSL stands for Secure Socket Layer. The primary reason why SSL is used is to keep sensitive information sent across the Internet encrypted so that only the intended recipient can understand it. Any computer in between you and the server can see your usernames and passwords, and other sensitive information if it is not encrypted with an SSL certificate. When an SSL certificate is used, the information becomes unreadable to everyone except for the server you are sending the information to. This protects it from hackers and identity thieves.
Why did we do it?
Mainly because we want to make it perfectly clear that we take the security of each of our users very seriously. Our users make our site what it is and your security is paramount. We don't share your personal information with ANYON

After a fifteen year hiatus, the "classic line up" of Guided By Voices finished off its year-long reunion tour by recording an album of 21 new songs, making a deliberate effort to return to what bandleader Robert Pollard calls the "semi-collegial" approach of iconic GBV albums like Bee Thousand and Alien Lanes. The Echo-Friendly Release "Boats" Track
"Same Mistakes" Out Now On Cantora Records
"Same Mistakes" Video, Directed by Paul Korzan
Press Contact: Ashley Ayers
There are infinite songs about relationships, and certainly music can take love to a new, magical level when presented with the right song and the right people. But rarely do we come across an interplay of music and love as symbiotic–as desperately codependent–as it does in the work of debut indie outfit The Echo-Friendly. The band, half of which resides in Memphis and half in NYC, debuted their first single, "Same Mistakes" last June on Cantora Records. They're back with a charming new single, titled "Boats".
Jake and Shannon, who comprise the lead vocal duet of The Echo-Friendly, also make up the long time off and on couple whose trials bleed profusely, and unabashedly, into the band
